Well, it continues to amaze me how wonderful life can be when I allow myself to simply be present to NOW. My life of late has taken on a particularly beautiful glow to it, in part because of a renewed commitment to being present.
For example, on Thursday I asked my daughter, Amber, to fix dinner for the three of us, since her mom and I have an evening class we facilitate. Well, did she ever fix dinner! A full 3-course meal including a luscious soup, a delectable chicken dish topped off with sumptuous strawberries dipped in dark chocolate. I was so proud and pleased by how well she took on her cooking assignment that it made the meal that more delicious. Then, this morning as I took my walk around the Bonclarken Lake I stopped along the path to watch a flock of geese come in for a landing. The beauty brought tears to my eyes. Even my two dogs were stopped in their tracks in amazement. What can I say? Life is good right now. I feel very blessed and I am grateful for the opportunity to share it with you. ¨Ï2005 Brad Swift of Life On Purpose Institute, Inc.
