The golf shirt that you choose to wear when you go out onto the green is not a simple decision, at least not as simple as some would have you think. You cannot simply throw on any old golf shirt when you are leaving the house you know. You have to take into consideration a few different things first. Golf is a very balanced sport and so many factors can come into play and they will all determine how good your golf game is that day and your choice of golf shirt is one of these very important factors. You need to have the right golf shirt on every time that you play golf if you want to play your best.
Does it seem strange to realize that this is true? That you do in fact have to be wearing the right golf shirt? This is not a matter of which golf shirt is the most stylish, it is about which is the most comfortable. If you are not comfortable in your golf shirt then you will not be comfortable in our game. You will be distracted by the uncomfortable golf shirt and you will not be able to concentrate on your swing. And we all know what happens when you can?t focus on your swing don?t we? You bomb, big time. Remember that just because a golf shirt is comfortable when you are inside at home that does not mean that it is going to be a comfortable golf shirt when you are outside on the golf course. Think about the weather when you are choosing a golf shirt to wear that day. It is hot, sunny cold or damp? This matters if you want to pick the right golf shirt for that day. If it is hot or even just really sunny, you will want to choose a lighter golf shirt one that is made of cotton so that it can breathe. Standing in the sun for hours can get very warm, even on an pother wise cool day so you will want a lighter golf shirt on. It on the other hand if it is cold out and the sky is overcast then you will want to choose a heavier golf shirt, perhaps even one with longer sleeves. These are the kinds of things that you need to think about before you choose the golf shirt that you should wear on any given day at the golf course. |
